Donate to Friends of the Foundation
The Darke County Foundation (formerly named HOPE Foundation of Darke County) is dedicated to improving the quality of life in Darke County by receiving, managing and distributing charitable gifts for the benefit of local residents. The Foundation supports areas such as education, the arts, social services, community projects, religious organizations, conservation and animal welfare.
 
Through donations by individuals, families, businesses and charitable organizations, the Darke County Foundation provides long-term support for causes in which our donors strongly believe. Our goal is to assist donors in fulfilling their charitable wishes, creating lasting legacies for years to come.

Sunshine 5K Raises Funds for Groups

The annual Sunshine 5K, hosted each September by the Darke County Foundation, welcomed hundreds of runners and walkers to Greenville City Park. Over $14,000 was raised for the following non-profit organizations:

  • Cancer Association of Darke County

  • DeColores Montessori School

  • Edison College Foundation

  • Friends of Darke County Parks

  • St. Mary's School

  • Darke County Foundation Grant Fund

Foundation Distributes $139,000 in Grants

The Darke County Foundation recently distributed $139,000 in community grants to 38 non-profit organizations that serve Darke County residents. The following funds at the Darke County Foundation provided money for the groups listed below, along with their project descriptions:
