GRANTS FOR NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS
Applications available May 15 and due June 30, 2024

Eligibility Requirements for Organizations

  • Organizations must be 501(c)(3) tax-exempt or government agency.

  • Organizations must provide services that improve the health, education or 
    welfare of Darke County residents.

  • The following groups are not eligible:

    • Organizations that limit their services to members of any one religious group.

    • Organizations whose primary purpose is to influence legislation, 
      political viewpoint, or promotion of a political candidate.

       

Available Grants

  • Approximately 35 organizations will receive awards from $500 to $2,500.

Application Process

  • All applicants (recipients and non-recipients) will be notified of results within 45 days of deadline. Recipients will receive payment within 60 days of deadline.

  • If approved grant is one of several funding sources needed to complete a project, the Foundation has the discretion to delay payment until the organization has secured funding to complete the project.

  • Recipients must complete a final report summarizing the use of grant funds to be eligible for the next year's grants. Click the following button:
